What is an ACO?
Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs) are networks of doctors, hospitals,
health centers and other community partners that collectively care for
a group of patients to help improve patient outcomes and reduce health
care costs by delivering highly coordinated care.

ACOs improve the patient experience by helping you navigate care. Your
complex needs may require you to seek care from multiple experts in different
settings. Our ACO is a single organization representing the system as
a whole, helping your BVCN providers to work together to center their
care around you. Below is a real-life example of an ACO at work (names
have been changed to ensure privacy).
