Provider Bio
Dr. Kyle Denlinger, a Chicago native, earned a bachelor's degree in
kinesiology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2012.
He discovered his passion for physical therapy while volunteering with
the Paralympic and adaptive physical therapy and performance program in
Champaign. He received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Northwestern
University in 2015 and went on to complete advanced orthopedic training
at the Loyola University Chicago Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency
in 2017. He earned designation as a board-certified orthopedic clinical
specialist in 2018. Kyle then practiced in Maryland at the United States
Lacrosse Headquarters working with athletes of all sports and all ages
from the high school to professional level. He further progressed his
treatment in sports medicine, attaining designation as a certified strength
and conditioning specialist. Dr. Denlinger moved home to Chicago in 2020
to complete the Northwestern University's Fellowship in Advanced Orthopedic
Physical Therapy Practice, Research, and Education. He is very excited
to be a part of a strong multi-disciplinary team at the Colorado University
Sports Medicine and Performance Center.
Kyle believes in an evidence-based and patient centered approach to his
care. He strives to provide an active, fitness forward mindset that educates
and empowers patients to achieve their goals. He is passionate about helping
his patients optimize their health and wellness, as well as returning
athletes to sport. Dr. Denlinger enjoys working with patients from all
backgrounds, all activity levels, and with injuries to any part of the
body. He additionally has working proficiency in Spanish. In his free
time, Kyle enjoys spending time with his wife and puppy, running, hiking,
weightlifting, and travelling.
