Nicole moved to Colorado in 2011 and began working for Boulder Community
Health in the acute and inpatient rehabilitation settings. In 2013, she
joined the outpatient rehabilitation team. In 2016, Nicole became a preeminent
stroke clinician through completion of a rigorous set of courses and an
examination culminating in the nationally recognized credentials of CSRS
(Certified Stroke Rehabilitation Specialist). Also in 2016, she became
dry needling certified. Nicole received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy
from the University of Central Florida. During her coursework, she focused
on fall prevention for seniors,
specifically those who had suffered a stroke. Interests include stroke
rehabilitation, vestibular dysfunction,neurotrauma and shoulder dysfunction.
Nicole is skilled at incorporating balance, coordination, agility and
core strengthening into treatment sessions when appropriate. She believes
in a proactive approach wherein education is vital to rehabilitative success
and the overall health and safety of a patient. In her spare time, Nicole
loves to explore the great outdoors.
