Provider Bio
A Cincinnati native, Dr. Hess graduated from the Ohio State University
College of Medicine in 1999 and completed her residency at the University
of Colorado in 2002.
She practiced a full range of family medicine in Loveland before joining
Boulder Community Health in 2004. Board certified in family medicine,
Dr. Hess has a special interest in women's health, preventive health
and nutrition. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Practice
and a clinical professor at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center.
Dr. Hess believes the journey to optimal health takes a team approach and
that the patient must be informed and involved. She embraces complementary
and alternative medicine, acknowledging Western medicine's limitations
and the importance of a patient's attitude toward healing.
She enjoys spending time with friends and family, especially her husband,
Geoffrey, and their three children. She also enjoys skiing, swimming and hiking.
