Provider Bio
Dr. Johnson earned her bachelor’s degree in Human Biology from Stanford
University. After a brief stint teaching high school science, she returned
to Colorado to get her medical degree from The University of Colorado.
Dr. Johnson is board certified in Family Medicine and has additional certification
by the Academy of Integrative Health and Medicine. She is also a board
member of Helping Hands Health Education and sometimes participates in
medical clinics in Nepal.
Dr. Johnson has special interests in preventive medicine, women’s
health, and integrating alternative and conventional medicine. She sees
her role as a facilitator to help people obtain optimal health. She enjoys
getting to know her patients and finding the best way to support them
in their health process. Dr. Johnson believes that healthcare should be
a dialogue between patient and physician with the patient at the center
of the conversation.
Dr. Johnson is fluent in Spanish and enjoys spending time with her family,
traveling, practicing yoga, hiking, and skiing. Her motto is “Live
Well, Laugh Often, and Love Much”.
