Provider Bio
Dr. Kidd joined Family Medical Associates in 2014. She is board certified
in family medicine and received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree
from Midwestern University, Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine. She
was born and raised in California and obtained her undergraduate degree
from the University of California in Davis, in Neurobiology and Physiology.
Dr. Kidd completed her residency training in Tacoma, Washington through
the University of Washington. After her residency, she worked for the
Department of Defense at the Fort Bliss Army base in El Paso, TX where
her husband served as an active duty staff physician. Dr. Kidd enjoyed
working with military families as well as active duty soldiers and retired
service members. Additionally, she performed various other administrative
tasks and pioneered the start of William Beaumont Army Medical Center’s
first Immigration Clinic, of which she was the medical director. After
three years, Dr. Kidd transitioned into the community and served as physician
and site medical director for the Sierra Providence Urgent Care clinic
in El Paso. Dr. Kidd is fluent in Spanish and enjoys practicing the full
spectrum of family medicine, caring for patients of all ages and all ethnic
backgrounds. She believes in a holistic approach to health care, addressing
each patient as a whole person and not just a patient with a disease.
She strives to empower her patients to be knowledgeable, informed and
active participants in their health care so they can make choices to achieve
the best possible outcome.
