Dr. King is board certified in infectious diseases and internal medicine.
At Boulder Community Health, he treats a wide range of infectious diseases.
He received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School
at Houston. He completed his internal medicine residency at Harbor-UCLA
Medical Center and an infectious disease fellowship at Emory University
School of Medicine. He went on to earn his Master of Science in Clinical
Research at Emory University.
Dr. King has lectured and published articles on numerous infectious disease
topics, including antimicrobial resistance, tuberculosis, antibiotic therapy
and complications related to HIV/AIDS. He is involved in Medical Staff
Leadership at BCH, serving as the Medical Staff President from 2014 to
2016 and is a member of the Electronic Health Record Committee. He belongs
to the Infectious Disease Society of America, the Society for Health Care
Epidemiology of America and the Boulder County Medical Society.
