Provider Bio
Dr. Lewis grew up in southern California, moving to Colorado in 1972. She
graduated from the University of Colorado, Boulder, and then went on to
obtain a graduate degree in Guidance and Counseling. Prior to her medical
studies, she traveled extensively and worked as a Peace Corps Volunteer
in Nepal. She completed her medical degree at the University of Colorado
Health Sciences Center and her residency in Portland, OR. She has been
practicing in the Boulder/Longmont area since 1998.
She is interested in all aspects of general internal medicine with a focus
on prevention, preventive cardiology, women’s health and diabetes.
She is open to natural and alternative medicine, and her overall approach
is collaborative. She is also a certified Mind Body Vibrance coach through
The Hendricks Institute in California.
In her free time, she volunteers for Turning the Wheel, a local non-profit
working with youth via movement, music and art.
