Kate Martin completed a sports physical therapy residency and is a board
certified sports specialist through the American Board of Physical Therapy
Specialties. She has extensive experience in managing hip and knee conditions;
specifically femoroacetabular impingement, hip dysplasia, and ACL injuries.
Prior to arriving at CU, Kate spent eight years at The Ohio State University
where she served as the coordinator of the Hip Outcome Team and co-coordinator
of the ACL prevention program. Kate also earned her Masters degree in
Clinical and Pre-clinical Research in 2018. She is actively involved in
research focusing on outcomes after hip arthroscopy and interdisciplinary
management of hip pain. She values the importance of providing evidence-based,
individualized interventions to optimize each patient's rehabilitation.
Kate was a former collegiate basketball player and is passionate about
working with athletes of all ages and levels. Personally, she enjoys spending
time with her family, outdoor adventures, and live music. Kate was a former
