Provider Bio
Dr. Marthaller is a general surgeon with the latest training on advanced
surgical techniques. He has special expertise in trauma as well as minimally
invasive procedures including advanced laparoscopy.
He received his bachelor’s degree (with highest honors) from Minnesota
State University Moorhead and his medical degree from the University of
North Dakota’s School of Medicine, where he was awarded General
Surgery Medical Student of the Year in 2011. He completed his five-year
residency at St. Joseph Hospital in Denver, where he gained valuable expertise
in a nationally recognized Level 1 Trauma Center and also served as Administrative
Chief Resident.
Dr. Marthaller is a member of the American College of Surgeons. He is dedicated
to providing the best possible patient care, building lasting patient
relationships, and contributing to the overall welfare of our community.
He enjoys traveling, fishing, hiking, camping and just about anything outdoors.
