Certified nurse midwife Marcie Mullins received her nursing degree from
the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and completed her master’s
degree at Frontier Nursing University in Hyden, KY.
Marcie followed a path to nurse-midwifery after nearly 25 years’
nursing experience — first as an ICU nurse, then as an emergency
department and trauma nurse and more recently as a birth center nurse
at the University of Michigan Medical Center. Prior to joining Boulder
Community Health in 2019, she worked as a certified nurse midwife in Macomb, MI.
In addition to providing midwifery care during pregnancy, labor, delivery
and postpartum, Marcie performs well women exams, offers contraceptive
management services and treats minor gynecologic problems. She believes
in partnering with patients, helping them achieve their health care goals
and make educated, informed decisions for themselves and their families.
A mother of three grown sons, Marcie cherishes spending time outdoors.
She enjoys skiing, rock climbing, camping, hiking and mountain biking.
