Dr. Pujet is board certified in infectious disease and internal medicine.
She came to Boulder from Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, where
she completed a fellowship focusing on HIV and AIDS.
Dr. Pujet graduated from the University of California, Irvine College of
Medicine and completed her internal medicine residency at Harvard Medical
School's program at Brigham and Women's Hospital. While there,
she received many awards for her outstanding work, including the Arnold
Dunne Award for extraordinary care during residency and the Massachusetts
Infectious Disease Society Edward Kass Award for clinical excellence in
infectious disease.
Since 2003, Dr. Pujet has been the medical director for Boulder Community
Health's HIV program, which provides comprehensive, compassionate
and multidisciplinary care to those living with HIV/AIDS in Boulder and
neighboring counties including Northern Colorado. The daughter of a Peruvian,
Dr. Pujet speaks fluent Spanish, and tremendously values her close relationship
with the Latinx community.
Dr. Pujet's clinical interests include HIV, Hepatitis B and C and sexually
transmitted infections. She is a member of the American Academy of HIV
Medicine, Infectious Disease Society of America, and Alpha Omega Alpha
Honor Medical Society.
In her free time, Dr. Pujet enjoys volunteering for the community, playing
piano and exploring new places off the beaten path with her husband and
two children.
